Sarah Mitchell is a salon owner, master hairstylist, fashion and image consultant, and beauty industry leader with more than 25 years of experience. Known for her elevated aesthetic, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to create polished, modern, effortless looks, Sarah has built her career around helping people look and feel their absolute best.
Her expertise extends beyond the salon to the global fashion stage. Sarah has worked backstage at both New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week, experiences that have influenced her approach to beauty by blending high-fashion inspiration with sophisticated, wearable style for everyday clients.
As the owner of Elevate Beauty Lounge, Sarah has built an award-winning salon recognized by Salon Today as a Top 200 Salon in the United States for three consecutive years. Her leadership extends beyond the chair as she continues to invest in education, innovation, and the growth of the beauty professionals around her.
Sarah is especially passionate about mentoring and developing stylists, helping them refine their technical skills, build confidence, strengthen their careers, and recognize their potential. She believes that a great salon isn't built around one talented stylist—it is built by developing an exceptional team.
Her work as a fashion and image consultant allows her to take that philosophy even further, helping clients create a cohesive personal image through hair, color, style, and thoughtful attention to the details that make them feel confident and authentically themselves.
Most recently, Sarah expanded her vision for the beauty industry with the launch of Elvae Luxury Hair Extensions, her own premium extension brand. Elvae was created from Sarah's years of experience behind the chair and her understanding of what both clients and stylists expect from truly exceptional extension hair.
Today, Sarah continues to work behind the chair while leading Elevate Beauty Lounge, mentoring her team, growing Elvae Luxury Hair Extensions, and creating elevated experiences for both her clients and the professionals she is proud to develop.
